The harbour of S. Margherita Ligure has a horse-shoe shape and is protected by a outer breakwater directed towards NE; inside it includes six docks of different lenght, where 8 privately managed floating wharfs depart.
Dangers: annoying surf with winds from S-SW.
Hours of access: continuous.
Lighthouses and beacons: 1692 (E 1254) - beacon with a flashing red light, last 4 sec., range 8 M at the breakwater head.
Sea bed: muddy
Shallow waters: in quays ranging from 2 to11 m.
Radio: Vhf channel 16 - 11 (01/10 - 31/05 from 07 to 20; 01/06 - 30/09 from 07 to 24).
