SARZANA HARBOUR

44°23',97 N 08°41',25 E The small port in Arenzano is located South South West of the residential area and it consists of an inner breakwater measuring about 350 m and an outer breakwater directed towards East. The main quayside and shore are fitted with bitts. Dangers: a vast sandbank with a sparkling red buoy, period 1 sec., range 2 M.; entry is allowed to watercraft with a draught of no more than 2 m. Hours of access: continuous. Access: Keep as much as possible to the centre of the canal due to the sandbank that has formed at the entrance, marked by a red buoy; boats entering must give way to those leaving the area. Lighthouses and beacons: 1567 (E 1201) – beacon with a steady red light, range 3 M at the breakwater head; 1567.2 (E 1201.3) – beacon with a steady green light, range 3 M at the head of the outer breakwater. Sea bed: muddy Shallow waters: in quays ranging from 1.50 to 3.00 m. Radio: Vhf channel 09. Available spaces for boats: 186. Max. length: 18 m. Winds: from North-East and South-East.
